Merdümgiriz

Sros Lords

A label that I came in touch with quite recently is Merdümgiriz, originating from one of those countries of peace, honey and freedom of speech, Turkey. For reasons I do not want to go deeper into the matter, they moved over to London – but that’s a story that I do not want to dig out right here, right now. Anyway, they do house some excellent acts on their roster – enter the label’s name in the ‘search’-tab and you’ll find some (evidently highly interesting) reviews that undersigned did for a handful of Merdümgiriz releases.

Funeral Of God

Recently I came along the quite unusual yet highly interesting label Merdümgiriz (nowadays based in London), which focus on Underground material especially, with releases handmade by one of the label’s owners, Emir Togrul.

Funeral Of God

Funeral Of God are an Italian act that were formed in 2010 by Paolo ‘Odio’ Cerretini, also involved with extreme acts such as Mincer, In League With Satan, Glioblastoma, G.N.C. or Red Bible Black. Soon Paolo (bass and lead guitars, drum programming) got joined by Ukrainian artist Mariya Popyk.

Grimmdrasil

Pretty recently I came in touch with Turkish label Merdümgiriz, pretty young but quite productive, especially focusing on projects by label founders Merdümgiriz and Emir Toğrul. It’s quite a unique label, not only for being a Turkey-based one (which cannot be that easy out there), but because of the explicit philosophy (especially of some specific acts that are on their roster) and the ‘strange’ signings.

Morkesagn

Morkesagn are a relatively young quartet from Ukraine’s capital city Kiev, consisting of Heydvald (bass), Ekvil (vocals and guitars), Heisenbeard (drums), and Farn (guitars and backing vocals). Where The Darkness Never Ends is their first album, independently released the digital way and on CD via Farn Black Productions (I guess it’s owned by this band’s guitar player) with additional distribution assistance of Turkey’s Merdümgiriz.
