While at University Of Manchester, lead singer/ bassist Sideeq Mohammed, guitarist David Gwynn and drummer Daniel Mucs (also known from the bands Collibus and Wolfcrusher) founded NAE in late 2009, with the intention of developing a unique brand of Metal driven by brutality and technical precision.
Circle Of Rage are a five-headed band (vocalist Tommo, bass player Lee, guitarists Veitch and Scott, and drummer Xander) from the United Queendom. They recorded Rage In D-Minor with Oz Craggs at the Kent-based Hidden Track Studio. The initial release date was foreseen in 2012, but due to circumstances unknown (and who cares anyway?), it has been delayed, postponed, until now.
Following experiences in other bands (I only have actual info on one of 'em, really – see further), singer Chris “Box” Pugsley and guitarists Marc Matthews & Toby Stewart (both play lead as well as rhythm guitar parts; the latter was in Awake By Design, but I doubt he contributed to the 2 full-length self-released albums of that band) came together in 2008 through their mutual love for and understanding of Melodic Death Metal.
In 2007, when Michelangelo and Tony hooked up to work together, the band, Violet Gibson, was born. but under a different name at the time . After an intense writing phase, the two of them, along with singer Matteo Brozzi they brought life this group’s first Demo when they were originally called Last Vegas.
Kamikaze Test Pilots is a band that is heavily influenced by System of a Down, that's pretty clear as far as the sound goes. However, it's not just a rip-off version of this talented and renowned band. It actually sounds pretty impressive. More impressive than I had expected, that's for sure.
