Arsenic Solaris is a label full of surprises. I mean that you never know what to expect from a new release, with exception of those projects you already know. The very same goes for Two Bridges, an adventure by two bands, one that I had not heard of before, and one that I did not know that well.
Cold July Water is a co-operative work by two famous Experimental / Ambient / Drone artists, Arthur Arsenne and Vitaly Maklakov. First a short introduction on both of them.
The New Apsurd, also acting as The New Apsurde (mind the additional ‘e’), is a young collaboration by two guys I appreciate a lot within the Noise / Drone / Ambient / Experimental / Post-Rock (and so on) scene. There’s Marko Jovic, from Croatia, who’s the guy behind acts like mighty Antisocial Block and Xtematic, or Asimonde, SR90 and Re_a. The other one is a sympathetic guy I came in touch with last year: Arthur Arsenne.
Not that long ago I got in touch with a French guy, Arthur Arsenne, who did initially impress me by a collaborative album, created together with Piotr Cisak and Pawel Oleksinski (for the review on that Arsenne + Cisak + Oleksinski recording, see update of January 17th 2016) – thanks to Frozen Light for the opportunity, and so on… Anyway, it turned out that A.Arthur (his ‘professional’ name as musician) did run two young labels, Death Carnival Records and <
Arsenic Solaris is the name for a new label by Arthur Arsenne, who runs Death Carnival Records too (as from February 2016, I did write and upload a handful of reviews for material that got released via this French Noise / Drone / Ambient-label).
You might have heard of the Noise / Drone / Ambient label Death Carnival Records before.
