Agents of Chaos is a hard-rocking band from Seattle witch got started somewhere around November 2009. The band consists of founder/ guitarist Brien DeChristopher, vocalist Jake McCoy, bassist Michael Keesal, and drummer Scott Henderson. You might think that band with its fearsome name may sound like a speed metal, thrash, or punk. Well, you couldn’t be more wrong.

This record (and band of course) turns out to be a groove/ rock band (like a soft version of Down or Pantera) with here and there some melodic touches. And of course there is nothing wrong with that. It sounds good and it has its moments, a bit short (but then again it is an EP). But I do have a complaint about the overall sound of the record. Although these guys know how to play their instruments, they don’t know how to record it properly. During the first song, you almost have to turn up the stereo’s volume to even hear the backing vocals. I know they are backing but common….Witch is a big turn of if something like that happens during the first song. But no worries there skills make up for it and I’ve heard they are going to release something new around this time so we all have something to look out for.
