This is their fifth studio album since this Swedish band was formed in 2004.  And as before they’ve made a fine album.  Not that it brings anything new to us. Far from that. This album, as were their previous albums, is chock full of stereotypes and clichés of the genre.

Actually their music can best be described as a mix of Manowar, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, Judas Priest, and maybe I could name a few others.

As far as the lyrics are concerned. Don’t bother trying to find any spiritual, political or whatever meaning in them.  These songs just demand to be listened to, you absolutely don’t have to use your brains to speak a (I wouldn’t even dare to use the word ‘deeper’) meaning in them.  Just bang your head, play that air guitar, and sing along.  That about sums it up. Yes despite all this, this is quite a good album, catchy as hell, and with good songs.
