American combo Lucifer D. Larynx And The Satanic Grind Dogs Of Death (what’s in a name?...) perform Corpse Fucking Necro Metal. So, the most difficult part of this review has passed…

Actually the recordings were done during several occasions in 2011 and 2012 at the Hellfire Studio. The result consists of twenty tracks, having a total running time of half an hour only. Short and to the point they are, those twenty lullabies. And indeed, what you could expect might be the truth: Lucifer D. Larynx And The Satanic Grind Dogs Of Death are a nasty Grind-combo with an uncompromising Old School attitude.

What these guys bring is an amalgam of elements that coloured the Grind-scene throughout the years, yet with a focus on the Eighties / Nineties-scene. It includes elements from Punk at the one hand, and Death Metal at the other. And there’s much more that totally lacks of an own face: predictable tempo-changes, Hardcore-riffing, some doomier injections, duelling vocals (squeezing squeals versus gurgling screams and guttural grunts), a bald, flat production, and a rhythm section with no other value than a  violently-supportive one. Add the expectedly-evident samples from movies and the average short length of each piece, and so on… Besides, it lacks of variation (in between the tracks especially) and inspiration.

Even the lyrical side is inspired by the primitive approach of the earliest scene, cf. tracks with titles like Night Of The Living Fucking Death, Unholy Primate Lust, Slave To The Bowels Of Evil, Satanic Zombie Apocalypse, Corpse Fucking Metal, Fuck Me Straight To Hell, Kill! Kill! Kill, etc.
