This one almost did escape my attention, but since it’s never too late…

Attack.Blood.Revenge was the first release under the moniker Revenge, sort of the follow-up to Canada’s finest Conqueror. It brought mostly vile, corrupted, raw, hostile and apocalyptic Black Noise Metal, characterized by J. Read’s malicious blasting drum work and blood-spitting growls, and R. Forster’s barbaric string molesting. The result: four devastating brain molesters (amongst which the frenzy cover of Bathory’s legendary track War, professionally raped and reinterpreted) with the grimmest old styled vibe.

Revenge and Nuclear War Now! Productions have now joined forces to re-release that classic of sonic underground violence. Besides the four lullabies from Attack.Blood.Revenge, this compilation also includes four other aural beauties: both compositions from the 7”EP Superion.Command.Destroy, the track Deathless Will, which was Revenge’s part on the split-7” with Arkhon Infaustus, and Lamb, a cover originally performed by another sick horde, Von, that initially appeared on the compilation NWN! Fest.

Enjoy or escape…
