This band was formed in 2000 by ex Insania singer Ola Halén.They recorded several demos, the last one being released in 2009. As a matter of fact three songs of that last demo were refurbished and feature on this album.
They bring us progressive power metal with a very high standard. This is powerful music, but also very melodic. While listening to this album, you get hints of Helloween, but Symphony X also lurks around the corner. There are two ‘minor’ points however. First of all some songs contain grunts, a thing I don’t particularly appreciate. But luckily enough there aren’t that many. The other thing is that Ola Halén has a rather high pitched voice, which meant that I had to listen to this album a few times, before starting to really like it.
A very promising debut album.
