Well, it would seem that it's quite impossible to talk about this double disc album, without goin' into its background, and saying something about The Sunflower Jam, a benefit project started up in 2006 by Jacky, wife of Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice.
Hailing from Walnut Creek (located some 26km East of the city of Oakland in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area), this Pop Punk band was founded in 2007 with singer Parker Cannon, guitarists Kevin Ambrose and Kevin Geyer (the latter also taking care of backing vocals), bassist Kelen Capener and drummer Ryan Torf recording & self-releasing their debut EP 5 Songs that same year. The following year the band came up with the simply-titled 2008 EP.
Founded in 2009, OMSQ is a Brussels based band combining elements of Space Rock with Sludge and Noise Metal, doin' most of its material in instrumental mode, and using samples for its "vocal" parts.

Casket Music/ Copro Records – Catch-up, part One! (for details, see review David J. Caron)Getting straight into the nitty-gritty of things, Audiobreed is a Heavy Rock/ Southern Rock/ Stoner Rock act founded in Piraeus (Athens), Greece, during the year 2008.
't Was in the last days of 2009, when lead guitarist Trixy TH and bassist Bobby Big Show decided to start what they felt would be the ultimate Glam Rock act. But finding the missing members with a same-like passion to make that dream come true, was something which would take quite a while.
Good creeps...finally I come across this legendary band again! You know, I remember having heard this band's fourth full-length album Confederacy Of Ruined Lives (2000) at a friend's place, somewhere at around the time I got involved in this website, actually, and having been blown away with the band's wacky mixture of Black Sabbath tonality and Post-Hardcore styled vocals.
There's really very little info to be found about this Newcastle-upon-Tyne based Alternative Punk Rock quartet (membership of Si, Gav, Jonny Rob and JD...with no indication as to what each one of 'em does in the band), and I wasn't even able to find out when the band was founded! Oh, do not confuse this British band with an outfit called Cabin Boy Jumped Ship.
Although my last encounter with this exhilarating multi-influenced German Metal act is still fresh in my mind as one of the most exciting events of that time, it turns out that that goes back to my review (posted 19/09/2006, and still consult-able in our “Archive” section) of the band's 6th album Riders On The Storm, which was the first recording by the band to get into the top 40 of the German album charts.
