Falcon (ex-Circle)

Already mentioned in my recent review of Circle's Six Day Run album (posted on 14/07 of last...and then again, for some odd reason, one 20/07 – PS: made a mistype about the original release date of the band's debut album Meronia...that's of course 1994 and not 1004!), this is a single on which the members of the Finnish band Circle bring two songs with a more direct Classic Hard Rock feel (as opposed to the more Psychedelic geared stuff of their main band).

Claes Anderson / Kalevi Seilonen / Erkki Kurenniemi / Otto Donner

In their on-going quest for musical oddities, the guys at Ektro Records came across this truly wacky recording, which may well be considered as one of the first encounters of Spoken Word with Electronic Music. Now, seek as you will, you won't find any info on this project except on the label's website (which is also where you'll find a link to two sound samples from the album at SoundCloud.

Slussenanalys

None of the info sources making a mention of it, I have no idea of when this extraordinary Finnish Noise Rock quintet was founded. In fact, there's not a lot of info on the band on the Internet at all, but here's what I dó know...

The Kolmas

Behind this Finnish Electronics project, we find one Veli-Matti LäjäÄijälä, none less than the mastermind behind the bands Terveet Kädet, Death Trip, Aavikon Kone Ja Moottori, Billy Boys, The Sultans, and The Bugariloves...whom kicked off this project at the end of the '70s as a means to doing stuff quite different from what he usually does.

Hebosagil

This “Doom” Metal band from Oulu (coastal town by the Botnic Gulf at the mouth of the river Oulujoki, situated NW & middle of Finland – with over 130,000 inhabitants, it is the 5th largest city in the country, and one of the northernmost largest cities in the world) was founded as a quintet in 2003.

Circle

Not to be confused with the Belgian band by the same name (and a couple of acts from other countries), this now possibly defunct band from Finland was founded in 1991 in the town of Pori, and throughout the years went through a series of line-up changes, making bassist/ guitarist Jussi Lehtisalo the only constant member.
