I can’t tell you anything about the DVD version, but here’s my review of the CD.

This is, for a debut album, pretty impressive stuff.  Of course the musicians featuring on this album are no freshman in the music business.  The band hails from Israel, and features Yuval Kramer  (Amaseffer) on guitar, whereas the mastermind behind the band is Yotam Avni (Prey For Nothing).  They are aided by guest performances by Jeff Scot Soto, Mike LePond (Symphony X) and Joost Van Den Broeck (Ayreon, After Forever).

A year following ConcretWeb's posting (on 08/04/2012) of a combined review (by yours truly) of this Phoenix, Arizona's based Goth'n'Thrash-flavoured Heavy Metal act's 2006 & 2009 albums Vampires In The Church and Saintanic, and its lead singer Prophet's solo album The Edge (released under the name Prophet & The Cowboys Of Apocalypse), the guys are back with a new 17-track album in which they continue their “making fun of evil” approach of music!

Thanks to the vinyl collection of his family, Canadian singer-songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist/ producer Patrick Lehman developed a great love for classic Soul, Gospel,  Rhythm 'n' Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, and Blues. Some of his many musical influences including Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Fleetwood Mac, Lauryn Hill, Sly And The Family Stone, The Rolling Stones, and Bill Withers.

Depending on what info source you consult, the origins of this badass Thrash/Hardcore Crossover band from Texas lay either in 2008, or in 2011. Personally, I don't know which to prefer. Anyway, here's the story according to the band's European label...

Although NVRVD (or Never Void) have already released three studio albums and one EP, they don't immediately ring a bell. Coma is the title of their fourth record and this might be the 'breakthrough' album for these three Swiss. They will release this album through Hummus Records, the label of The Ocean guitarist Jonathan Nido.

Seeing as Goodlife Recordings neglected to put us in their mailing list when they sent out copies of this Belgian Hardcore band's July 2010 album Give A Shit (their 2^nd on the label, following official full-length debut Declaring War – and two earlier demos), the review yours truly did on the album Aggression (posted 17/04/2008) is the most recent info we have on the guys on this here website.

First time I came across this English multi-instrumental musician/ singer-songwriter, is when I came across his solo debut album Ahh...Laine (1973) around the end of the '70s (well...it might also have been the early '80s!).

Following compilations of White Lion material, albums by Molly Hatchet (a live one and a tribute of the band to its musical influences), Great White, Night Ranger, and L.A. Guns, German oddity label brings us a commemorative Wings material album by Denny Laine (see elsewhere), and this compilation of old Sweet material.

Before we start talking about the new album by Bloodlights, Stand Or Die, I'd like to tell you something more about who Bloodlights actually are.
