At the beginning of 2005, the band started out as a two-man project of Tobias (Guitar) and Björn (Bass). And as time passed by, the project grew to a 5 membered band. In March 2006, the current Line-Up of Circle Of Silence was completed by Nick (Vocals), Chris (Guitar) and Pit (Drums). The result is an aggressive (Power) Metal band with catchy songs and melodies.

During September 2006, the bands first album entitled "Your Own Story" was released and reached a strong 9/12 review in a German metal magazine, witch got them noticed and gave them the chance to play various concerts. But now the band released once more a new album entitled “The Rise Of Resistance”.

To be honest I don’t know if I should love or hate this record. It certainly isn’t a bad record as it is the most aggressive power metal album I’ve ever heard. But on the other side, I got bored rather fast with this album and it felt like I’ve heard the same riffs somewhere else. So it’s definitely not bad but I’ve heard better and with better material that leaves a bigger mark.

70/100
