Hailing from Moscow, this quartet play a fine brand of instrumental postrock metal, that revels in dimensions somewhere between Pelican’s, Russian Circles’ and Amen Ra's excellent earlier works. Most of the music is slow and gloomy, but in a sludge rock vein rather than a doom vein. The playing is above average though there isn't much here that is technically demanding.
This is a good album with some wicked songs (“Beyond the scope” and “Dissociation”) on it, but I think the band may need to experiment a little bit more because they are a whole bunch of people that have heard very similar sounds before, but with some improvement and a further refining of their style and more variation in pace, they could be quite good. Also let the guitar solos fly a little more. The occasional solo pops up from time to time and while not mind-boggling, they are well-placed, smooth, and melodic.  Even though EndName’s music isn't extremely complicated or difficult it doesn't make them any less captivating to even the most demanding ears; the dramatic qualities and the patience they exercise in building their songs are strong elements of their style. The only downside would be a lack of variety within the album's six tracks. Production-wise - the album is a tad muddy and sloppy, I will say that even though this band is musically talented, they really should strive for a stronger sense of their own identity and sound.
