Once I Saw A Ghost

Once I Saw A Ghost are a quintet (Jon McIntyre-v, Artur Schulz-b, Konstantin Schulz-g, Louis Teige-d, and Fabrizio Costantino-g) that debut with Architects Demise, a thirty six-minutes long player that follows up to 2010’s mini-album Beyond Good And Evil. With this album the band brings a mixture of Death Metal and Hardcore, coloured by elements of Metalcore, Grindcore, Thrash Metal and more of this sh*t. It’s technical for sure, but unfortunately it lacks of an own face.

Shadowcraft

Principles Of Chaos isn’t but the debut album by Greek outfit Shadowcraft, even though the band was formed eight years ago. Shadowcraft recorded two demos during the early years, and a promo in 2009, but this first full length shows the band in its most matured, professionalised expression.

Groteskh

Groteskh hail from Austria and consist of (current and former) members of bands like Hellsaw, Irdorath, Obscure and Vomition. They did record this debut with Mario Lochert (Emergency Gate) at Munich’s Dreamsound Studio.

Vikingore

Quintet Vikingore hail from Seville, Spain, and are now debuting with Wolves In The Battlefront (in 2010 there was a self-produced and self-called demo), which brings a fantastic mixture of somewhat early nineties-oriented Death Metal, Scandinavian-inspired Viking / Black Metal and a handful of modern experiments. The band varies a lot in between aggression and melody, in between energy and integrity, in between tradition and progression.

Alter Self

Alter Self were formed more than five years in Athens, Greece, but in mean time there wasn’t but an official EP (2009’s Ashes Over Eden) to please some thrasheads’ hearing organs. It mainly has to do with obliged military service (WTF, does it still exist in current society? Another pathetic proof of our useless mankind…).

Black Sound Empire

Black Sound Empire is a post metal band from Italy. Although they already started four years ago, in 2009, they've only just released their first full length record, called Sisma. During those four years, they focused on live performances, which stood 'in the way' of releasing a debut album. Sisma is that reward they truly deserve after all those years of hard work.
