Taiga

When you’re in the mood for some unhappiness, you must pay attention. As you might know, a taiga is a vast landscape in Arctic and Subarctic regions on our sweet World, with forests and desolate plains, the silence of nature, the absence of joy, the representation of man’s futile existence. The meaning of ‘taiga’ has to do with the green forest lands at the Arctic and Subarctic areas of our dearest Mater Terra. It means coldness, it means nature, it means emptiness and desolation, extent and, at the same time, littleness, emptiness, integrity. I think it’s rather logical that this Russian (Siberian) band did go for that specific moniker.
