German horde Hroptatyr was formed as a trio in 2008 in the Bavarian region (briefly as Drunken Warriors). In 2010 the band debuted with Auf Zu Neuen Ufern via recently defunct Düsterwald Produktionen, and now they come with the sophomore album, called Hroptatyr, having a total running time of forty two minutes.
Finland’s Purtenance were initially formed at the end of the eighties as Purtenance Avulsion. There wasn’t but one demo under that moniker. In 1991, the band changed its name into the current one, and they released the grandiose Crown Waits The Immortal EP, which was one of my favourite EP’s that very same year (back then, tapes and vinyl were ‘hot’, CD’s didn’t exist yet), followed in 1992 by the full length debut Member Of Immortal Damnation.

Voice Of Revenge are a band from Würzburg, Germany, that were formed in 2005 by guitarist Peter Kretschmer and vocalist / guitar player Thomas Döll. In 2007, they self-released an impressing EP, called Mutilated Corpse, which led them to great festivals, such as Bringer Of Death or Riders Of The Storm.
