This is the debut album from this young English band. And a fine album it has become.
Production of the album was done by Michael Voss, which is always a good sign and immediately gives you a hint that you”re going to listen to some quality music. The song contributors are also well versed in the business, among others Steve McEwan (Foreigner, Roger Daltrey, Robbie Williams) but also Tommy Denander and Herman Rarebell have written songs for this album.
It was only in 2012 that Impera released its debut album ‘Legacy Of Life’, and one year later they enjoy the rock world by releasing their second album ‘Pieces Of Eden’, which is equally, if not even more impressive than their debut album.
Until Rain is a band hailing from Thessaloniki in Greece. This is their second full album, having previously released ‘Reign Of Dreams’, their debut album in 2009, and an EP ‘Pandemic’ in 2011.
Lawless are a new band, featuring (veteran) members Neil Ogden and Paul Hume from Demon, and Howie G from Persian Risk, further completed by Headrush bassist Josh “Tabbie” Williams.
What these guys bring us is what I’d call eighties style classic hard rock. It’s not bad, but it lacks originality. St to say they’ve taken every cliché and put it in this album is a bit of an understatement.
I had never heard of Aldo Giuntini or for that matter of the Giuntini Project yet its seems he’s an Italian guitar Wizardand has released three prior Giuntini Project albums between 1993 and 2006.
Formed back in 2004, Greece progressive metal band Until Rain released their debut ‘The Reign of Dreams’ in 2009 quickly followed by the EP ‘Pandemic”. Now 4 years later their second album ‘Anthem To Creation’ has seen the light of day. The eleven tracks presented here are characterized with a very complex and experimental structure consequently resulting in multiple spins to get customized. Obviously these guys are very talented and creative musicians and like to show this to the world.
Redline is a band that hails from Birmingham, UK, that judging upon its sound, seems to have it’s roots in NWOBHM. They were founded in 2006 and so far have released a few demos and one record- under own management. This is the archetype of music that in the eighties would have been highly popular. These days however I’m not quite sure. Yet it would be a shame if this band would go by unnoticed. They produce a cracking sound.
