Timo Kotipelto you all know as frontman and vocalist of Stratovarius, while Jani Liimatainen is known as guitarist of Sonata Arctica.

The two of them have been playing lots of acoustic shows that seem to have drew great critics, which made them take the decision to put some songs on an album.  Initially self-financed they ultimately found a company that would release the album on a much wider scale.

The album contains mostly covers, some Stratovarius and Sonata Arctica songs of course, but also of other musicians, like Gary Moore.

Frankly, there is nothing wrong with this album, but I personally find Timo’s voice bores me after a couple of songs.  And since this album is purely acoustical, you only get the guitar to accompany the vocals, which makes it a very pour sound.
