The starting point of Mascot Parade music can be found in the grungey stoner genre played by Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Sixty Watt Shaman and Kyuss and also in the savage punishing sonic assaults of High On Fire and Mastodon.

Monolithic riffing to the bone comes at you when “Lost in salvation”, the dark “Cause & effect” and “Bugs and hope” crawl slowly out of your speakers, these are really heavy crushers. With the vibrant opener “The uninvited guest” and on through powerhouse tracks “Devil/Angel”” and “Norma” showcase a solid hard rock vibe that'll rattle your braincells. The riffs sizzle and Henrik is in good vocal-shape, and there is more than enough energy, emotion, chops, and songwriting power to keep things interesting.  Cause & Effect was produced and engineered by Chips (The Hellacopters, Millencolin, Dozer,…), who did a very good job.
