Formed in 2005, Scarlet Violet is a metal band with its home base in Milan, Italy. After two realeases under US-based label Sliptrick Records (debut album "Animated Freaks" and EP "Roll The Dice") and extensive touring throughout North-Eastern Europe and Japan, the band has released their second full-lenght "Everlusting". The album was mixed and mastered at Studio Seven in Sweden by producer/drummer Ronny Milianowicz (Primal Fear, Kiske, Amon Amarth, Kreator).

Unfortunately these guys didn't convince me with this record. Their style in which you can hear some Papa Roach is fun to listen to, no complaining about that. But sound wise this album doesn't do it for me, it lacks power and just a good heavy guitar sound. It's not perfect, it’s just ok, but the flaws come out way to much due to the fact their sound is just ok. A shame knowing that this is their second record.
