Because I am such an amazing, sympathetic, vivid, bright, virile, smart, professional, handsome and, above all, modest and humble reviewer (why are you sardonically grimacing?), I have the chance to meet some very sympathetic and kind musicians from all over our beautiful yet rotting globe. An example is Lawrence K., the guy behind the Dark Ambient / Dungeon Synth outfit Idylls Of The Last King. With pleasure and dedication, I wrote down my humble thoughts on some of the former releases.

I will keep it short this time, even though I am reviewing a truly magnificent act with the fabulous moniker Idylls Of The Last King. This review deals with a kind of compilation, which is dedicated – not just morally yet also financially – to the Republic Pilgrim charity organization, which tries to help youngsters from (Ukrainian) soil who are homeless, who are drug-addicted, or who have run away from their current life situation.

In a philosophic way – and hey, I am not trying to set up any discussion about it – but mankind’s ‘inner self’ is always like a travel into one’s identity, a quest to discover your own raison d’être, a confrontation with monstrous entities, nothing else but caused by your own thoughts, ideas, beliefs, opinions, and so on. Are there any supernatural powers – gods or deities, if you want – to enlighten the path we’re crawling on to reach the end? Is our inner self, being a ‘dungeon’, able to trespass the limitations, to cross the borders of our personal expectations and conversances?
