Arch Enemy

When Carcass fell apart, two ex members Michael Amott and Johan Liiva joined forces with Daniel Erlandsson, and Amott’s younger brother Christopher, to form Arch Enemy.  Their debut album ‘Black Earth’ was released in 1996, and obtained some success in Sweden but was better received in Japan.

Miasmal

Miasmal some Swedish guy raised in 2007 at Gothenburg a dark death metal band. Line-up for the moment: Björn – drums, Magnus – guitars, backing vocals, Ruben – bass and Pontus – vocals, guitars. Björn replaced Random Mike (Corrupt, terror, Corruted) in 2011.

Zaum

It has been quite a while, but I am glad I Hate did send our headquarters some new stuff at last. I cannot explain why, but their releases almost always please me a lot.

Martyr Defiled

Martyr Defiled” a Britisch death/hardcore band from Lincoln formed in 2008. Current members are: Ryan Smith - Guitars, Richard Duffin - Drums (2008-present), Matthew Jones - Vocals (2008-present) and David Trees - Guitars (2011-present).

Insomnium

Insomnium ( latin for dream) a Finnish formed in 1997 playing melodic death metal. Current members are Niilo Sevänen - Vocals/Bass, Ville Friman - Guitars/Vocals, Markus Vanhala – Guitars and Markus Hirvonen – Drums.

Many fans were shocked with the announcement that long- time frontwoman ‘Angela Gossow’ would quit the band. But ‘Alissa White- Gluz’ is definetly a good replacement as wel as front- woman and vocalist, she has it all.

Triptykon

Triptykon is a musical project of Thomas Gabriel Fischer, founding member of the pioneering heavy metal bands Hellhammer, Celtic Frost and Apollyon Sun. Fischer announced his departure from Celtic Frost in May 2008 and shortly afterwards revealed his new project would be entitled Triptykon.

Triptykon

I do not think Triptykon need any introduction anymore. They actually started six years ago as a side-project of Celtic Frost, but soon it all turned more serious. Tom G. ‘Warrior’ Fischer left Celtic Frost (and Celtic Frost disbanded soon after), and lots of material he wrote after the Monotheist-sessions (which I still think was a splendid album) seemed to be a logical basement for his new group.
