This quintet hails from the southern parts of Germany and is celebrating the release of their fourth studio album. Sometimes that information is all you need to know as the music doesn’t conjure orgasms or even the slightest emotional response.
Short introduction: Deep In Hate hail from France; two albums before: Only The Strong Survive and Origins Of Inequality (resp. in 2007 and 2011). The quintet (now with drummer Nicolas Bastos, whom you might know from his co-operation with Aborted) return with a nine-tracker that lasts for thirty five minutes.
Kaotoxin Records are one of those labels that comes with an enormous variety in releases, though mainly Death Metal and Grindcore-based. One of the genres they are known for is the Grindcore-scene.
I very recently reviewed the six-way split Monsters! … (see update June 2nd 2014 under ‘various’), which brought pretty refreshing, original and / or at least distinctive Grindcore-attacks, and now Kaotoxin are here again with another grinding split, this time by two sweet combos that will make you gradually nauseous. A Fairytale Full Of Apotemnophiliac Moments is how this collection of Gore / Porn lullabies is entitled, and it will be released in a limited edition of 1,000 copies with no repressing afterwards.

I only got the single, so a review of the complete album is not what you’ll get. However if the single is a good example of the other songs that will feature on the album, this will be good. Despite releasing a very good debut album ‘For Queen And Metal’ in 2013, this didn’t become a breakthrough for this band from Genk. Let’s hope this second full album will do the trick.

Four years after their debut full length Spiritual Rebirth, France’s Insain return with Enlightening The Unknown, an EP / MCD that was produced at the Italian 16th Cellar Studio (mainly known for recordings by Italian acts like Nefertum, Eyeconoclast, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Theatres Des Vampires or Hour Of Penance).
Germany’s Words Of Farewell were formed during the first half of the former decade. When they recorded and released the debut Immersion, they gained lots of positive attention all over the world. I wasn’t that enormously enthusiastic with that first full length studio album (see update July 8th 2012) (which, by the way, was released via AFM Records too), but I surely did not dislike it either.
Sinbreed is the project around 27 year old Guitarist Flo Laurin who joined forces with dedicated artists of the European metal scene. The members are Frederik Ehmke [Blind Guardian] on drums, Hebie Langhans [Seventh Avenue] on vocals, Alexander Schulz on bass and Flo Laurin who handles guitars and keys.
Three years have passed since the release of Iron Savior’s previous album ‘The Landing’, but now they’re back with their latest masterpiece ‘Rise Of The Hero’ .
