Obsessör

Obsessör are not that ‘old’, but they did impress several times with a fine mini-album in 2009 (Black Thrashing Blasphemy), an interesting split with Malaysia’s Storming Steels (Ultimate Thrashing Demons, released in 2012), and of course their grandiose debut full length Blitzkrieg battalion (2011). Earlier this year they released a split-EP with Germany’s Hellhunt, and last year they recorded a 7”EP, called Black Magic Rites.

Nocturnal Witch

Thuringian act Nocturnal Witch were formed five years ago, but this isn’t but this band’s first full length. After two demos in the early years, Nocturnal Witch released the 7”EP Into Dungeons via Evil Spell Records (a sub-division of Undercover Records), and via the very same label one can now enjoy the debut.

Headhunter D.C.

Headhunter D.C. (‘d.c.’ is the abbreviation for ‘death cult’, by the way) are an ‘old’ band from Brazil, originally formed in 1987 (!). They were pretty active (and ‘popular’) during the first half of the nineties, with the release of two long players (on vinyl), Born…Suffer…Die (1991) and Punishment At Dawn (1993). Both of them came out via Cogumelo, the most important label from South America, at least in the early years of Extreme Metal. Then things went silent for quite a long period, though the band was still active.

Omega

Omega are a Greek combo, consisting of Goulthor (g, v), Hades (v, g), Disaster (b), and Minion Of The Antichrist (d). They were formed about nine years ago and after a first demo, they were able to sign to Evil Spell Records, a sub-label of Undercover Records from Germany. In 2010 they released a first album (Second Coming, Second Crucifixion), followed in 2012 by a split-EP with Ravencult.
