There are two Sieghetnar-re-issues that recently came my way, i.e. one being the third full length by this project, Bewußtseinserweiterung, which I will review very soon (watch out!), and one for the first demo out of three done in 2008, called Endlösung. This review will deal with that one.
All The Cold are a Russian project with former and current members of e.g. Kirai and Dead. Nowadays they do not play Black Metal anymore, but that was quite different in the past. This compilation is the best example of that glorious past.
Lower-Saxony-based Pest were formed during the second half on the nineties. After a first demo, they recorded four full lengths and an EP, which undersigned does like with passion, pleasure and pain. Unfortunately the band split-up after the decease of Artur ‘Mrok’ Bialkowski, but Pest had one more recording finished. The other members of the band decided to release that album posthumously, appropriately entitled Buried (released earlier this year via Primal Vomit Records).
Graven Dusk are a Canadian one-man project, courtesy of Yves Allaire aka Evil Lair. He’s also the guy involved with the Epic Doom-act Dark Covenant (with two former members of Malleus Maleficarum) and frontman of Nordicwinter (still active???), and formerly sole member of orchestral Black projects Strigoi Mort and Azkiria as well. The album this review deals with is the sole album under the Graven Dusk moniker till now.
