More Hate Productions

Hailing from the city of Kolkata (West Bengal, India), Infernal Diatribe are a horde that roams our planet for about a decade and a half in the meantime. After a first EP in 2016, called Videha Mukti (initially released by the Indian division of Transcending Obscurity Records), things went silent for quite a while. At the beginning of the current decade, the band was part of two splits, being one with Portuguese sweeties Sonneillon (2022) and one with Norway’s finest Moor (early 2023).

Since I did write several reviews before for this project, I will not go too deep into the discography or biography of this solo-outfit by Aleksey Korolyev, who is residing in Georgia nowadays. I will directly focus on this re-release / compilation.

I do not feel like spending too much time on this project’s introduction this time. As you might know, Satanath is the name of Aleksey Korolyov’s longest-running (originally formed in 2011 in Saint-Petersburg) solo-outfit that shows a frenzy vision on sonic creativity, in contrast to ‘Metal’ Music in general.

A short one, yet one way too important not to pay attention to…

The history of Hungarian band Eclipse Of The Sun goes back to the very end of this century’s first decade. Hailing from the city of Székesfehérvár (close to the Balaton lake, appreciated enormously by undersigned for its fine winery – egészségére!), as a five-piece they did create a first untitled demonstrational EP, soon followed by Symbols, consisting of four new tracks. Several line-up changes followed throughout the years, but in 2015, the band came up with their first official full-length album, Daimonion (independently released).

Ah, sometimes it is truly fine to get confused in a positive way. That’s exactly what happened to me when Aleksey from Satanath Records (amongst others) informed me about the debut of the project The Malice. I have to admit that I did not know this entity, but apparently it’s a pan-European collaboration of two famous and experienced sweeties.

In 2018 some East-European musicians joined forces under the moniker of Monumentum Damnati: Abhoth (music & lyrics, also bass guitars), Athame (synths), Shoggoth (guitars) and Nyarlathotep (drums). Somehow they did prefer to stay ‘anonymous’ (with masks), even though it is said that they are ‘known’ artists from Belarus and at least one other country from the Far East of Europe (and maybe the U.S. of A.).

Greek multi-instrumentalist Dimitros ‘Dimon’s Night’ Sakkas did form Inhibitions about twelve years ago, initially assisted by the guttural throat of Coprojunkie (both of them are / were in Humanity Zero too, by the way).
