Northern Silence

Nasheim

Nasheim were formed at the very beginning of this century by Erik Grahn (think: Lethal, Envenomed etc.) and a couple of colleagues. During the first half of the former decade, Nasheim recorded two great demos, which were compiled afterwards, and in 2007 there was the superb split with Angantyr. All this came to realisation thanks to the professional assistance of Northern Silence Productions.

Coldun

Coldun are a solo-project by multi-instrumentalist Steffen ‘Coldun’ Thümmel, whom you might know from bands like Isenburg or Andras as well. With this solo-project, he released a first album in 2007, called Necessariis? Dubiis? Caritas?. That one stood for firm and powerful Doom-laden Melodic Metal. Now, after seven years of waiting, Coldun returns with his second solo-recording, which goes further than the self-released debut.

Woods Of Desolation

Woods Of Desolation are the brainchild of D., who hails from New South Wales, Australia, and who started this outfit in 2005. He was active in Grey Waters too, at that moment, but he was able to have some first recordings done with guest vocalists. About four years ago, the project signed to the Northern Silence-roster, and a first result of this collaboration was called Torn Beyond Reason, a majestic epic that I do still consider one of the highlights of 2011.

Emyn Muil

Saverio Giove is the guy behind Nartum Music Projects, which includes the different projects he is involved with. I knew Ymir and Valtyr, but apparently he is doing some other musical projects too, amongst which Emyn Muil. With Emyn Muil, Saverio aka Nartum released a full length on January 15th 2013 via his own label, which was entitled Túrin Turambar Dagnir Glaurunga.
