Colleagues Erik and Tim having reviewed this Brighton based English Alternative Rock duo's second and third albums Fire Like This and In Time To Voices (reviews respectively posted 01/03/2010 and 26/03/2012 – both still available in this website's “Archive” section), I don't really see a reason to do a full history-of-the-band, but, if indeed you need one, then google the band's page at Wikipedia too keep yourself busy!

I will say this though : looks like the band's albums have had some mixed receiving by the fans, the 2008 album Box Of Secrets making #47, #73 and #58 in respectively the UK, Holland, and Belgian album charts. For 2010's Fire Like This, there was a shift towards the negative in the UK (top position #95), with improvements in Holland and Belgium (#48 and #42 positions respectively). Then, with third album Tie To Voices, an improvement was seen in the UK charts (top position #61), while in Holland and Belgium there was a recline in sales (top positions at #78 and #79). Hum...perhaps in the latter countries there were too many local releases at the time. Especially in Belgium (where the gross of the music-buying public is mostly dumb sheep whom will follow any trend as soon as it's publicized on National television), that can reek havoc. It couldn't have been that the duo didn't promote the album enough, as they were touring the UK and Europe in April and May of last year, and announced worldwide tour dates at the same time!

Anyway, the band now releases this 3-track EP of all-new material. If it's meant as a tie-over for the fans, those people wanting to get the EP in physical form had to make due with the vinyl version, and be pretty quick about it too, as it was in limited edition. Time having passed by as it has, perhaps the EP has meanwhile also been released in CD form (I haven't found evidence of that, though!), and otherwize you lot still wanting to enjoy these (at least temporarily exclusive) songs will have to download 'em via iTunes. Rest assured, the trio of songs displays the band's usual bi-sexually sung Shoegazer-ish Alternative Rock, which I am apparently more partial of than my colleagues (remember I mentioned 'em in the first paragraph of this here article/ review?), as my rating is slightly higher!
