An album that contains only 5 tracks, and has total playing time of just over 47 minutes is quite unusual.  The band already exists since 1997, and has previously released some demo’s and finally their first studio ‘Wher Memories Combine’ album in 2004.

Now then years later, they finally release a follow-up album, but despite the years that have passed since the founding of the band and now, only 2 of the five tracks are new tracks, including the closing track ‘What Falls Away’, which has a playing time of 20 minutes.  The first two tracks on this album are two songs that featured on the (long unavailable) ‘Chiaroscuro’ demo, which wre re-recorded, while the third track is a cover of a Sarah Mclachlan song ‘Ice’, and it is this third track that is my least favourite of the five. The final track however is the masterpiece of the album. It starts very slow and subdued, with nothing more than a piano and vocals, and after five minutes the guitars and other instruments kick in, and the tone of the song completely changes.  I’d even dare to say that this song alone justifies buying this album.  A must have for prog lovers !
