Crematory started in the early 90’s formed in Mannheim, Germany. The playing some gothic / melodic death metal. Current members are Felix Stass (vocals), Matthias Hechler (Guitar), Harald Heine (bass), Markus Jüllich (drums) and Katrin Jüllich (keyboards).
“Antiserum” starts with “Apocalyptic Vision” a song with a beeping alarm clock sound all the way bleeping at the background and never stops. I must wait till the fourth song “Inside Your Eyes” to hear something new, surprising and sounds great. And then “Virus” inspired with the current dance sound with loops and samples, love it. And to close the album “Antiserum” a slower but experimental, more traditional, peaceful and honest song.
Maybe this album is too poppy than I had expected. But the experiments they made are very Refreshing and inventive.
