With largely 250.000 sold copies, four # 1 and seventeen top ten chart listings, and a new world tour in the pipeline, 2013 was one of the most successful and exciting years in the history of Deep Purple. The release in April of this year of ‘Now What?!’ has been regarded by both fans and critics as one of the best albums in the career of this legendary band. On top of that there’s now a special edition of this album with a live bonus disc. Titled ‘The Now What?! Live tapes’ it contains twelve live songs recorded in Milan, Rome, Gävle, Majano & Aalborg during the first part of their ‘Now What?! World tour’. The Jerry Lee Lewis cover ‘It’ll Be Me’ is, just as b-side ‘First Sign of Madness’, added as bonus track. This special release also appears as strict limited and numbered edition of only 3.000 copies worldwide as well as 180 grams double vinyl. Even more than ever these days, Deep Purple are touring the world non-stop and what has been captured here is pure craftsmanship that will appeal to both fans and critics.
