The Dillinger Escape Plan is a band which you love or hate, there's no in-between. The ones who love it are usually into the mathcore genre and the ones who hate it just think it's noise. No matter what side you're on, their records always raise voices and they always give us something to talk about, which is also the case with their brand new studio album.
One Of Us Is The Killer is their fifth record and again it's a perfect combination of complexity and chaos, supported by the incredible voice of vocalist Greg Puciato. The remarkable thing about this new album is that The Dillinger Escape Plan have given way even more to the catchiness in the songs. This provides us with a constant feeling of tension which keeps it very entertaining. Paranoia Shields is a perfect example of Puciato's genius.
One Of Us Is The Killer could be the best The Dillinger Escape Plan record so far and even for the haters it might be the best noise they've heard in years.
