Iron Dogs

Let me start with saying that “Iron Dogs” is one of my absolute favourite songs and that Exciter’s Heavy Metal Maniac is one of my favourite albums of all time. I still become amazed when I listen to it. Every song on this record is a fucking whiplash.

I guess these four Canadian true metal warriors spin at home quite some discs by Thor, English Dogs, Motorhead, Angel Witch, Holocaust, Savage, Sacrilege, Omen and hopefully Exciter as that's what they most closely resemble. So,the main problem is that the band wears their influences too much on their sleeve. They just don't have anything unique and new to add to the style, but they execute it well if unspectacularly. Just free and wild.
