Although this Christian rock band was already formed in Orange County – California in 1196, and have so far released eight albums, I admit never before having heard of this band.

Was I surprised when I put this album in my CD player.  Being accustomed to Christian bands like Stryper or White Heart this band is something totally different.  The basis of their music might be hard rock, but there’s also some hardcore or post-hardcore in it. This album tells the story of a soldier after the battle, who doesn’t know who he is or where he came from in 13 tracks + an intro. Despite not being the album I expected, and the fact that it can’t be catalogued under hard rock nor heavy metal as such, it was an album I liked.  The vocals are spot on, raw and hard, the songs grip you by your throat, and the instrumental part is very good as well.  Some elements remind me of P.O.D.
