Singer Tim Lambesis, who is best known for his work as the front man of “As I Lay Dying” and “Austrian Death Machine” is back with even heavier music. He already has his own studio. So it didn’t take long for Ryan Glisan (Allegaeon) and Andy Godwin (ex-The Famine, Embodyment) to join the band and switch out ideas. Unfortunately due to the short time invested in the band due to the fact that they only just started out, I couldn’t find a lot of info about the collaboration of these chaps.

Pyrithion’s debut release ”The Burden of Sorrow” stands as a showcase of what the members are capable of putting together over what merely amounted to an extended weekend, so they only have 3 songs on this one. But to be honest, I can’t wait to hear more from this collaboration. It’s just an awesome technical brutal death metal EP that is just to short. Let’s just hope Tim can work on this project a little bit more. But with Tim having some problems with the law, we can only hope things work out for him.
