Red Lamb is a project that grew between Dan Spitz (Anthrax) and Dave Mustaine (Megadeath), so it’s no wonder that the songs they wrote have their roots in their musical history, which basically is….trash.

Since I’ve never been a big fan of the trash subgenre, listening to this album could have been quite an ordeal, but I managed it.  It is trash, but there are a few songs even I like.

The vocals were handled by a certain Don Chaffin, a name I’ve never encountered before in the music bizz, and who accordingly to some info I googled is the singer in Voices Of Extreme, but what can be said is that he sounds almost like Dave Mustaine. Other musicians in this band are Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails) and Patrick Johansson who handles the drums with Yngwie Malmsteen.

The theme for this CD is autism, and of every copy of this album that is sold, half a euro goes to ‘Autism Speaks’, an organization of whom Dan Spitz and his wife Candi are spokesman/woman.
