Forget the samba, and listen to Scelerata, a metal band hailing from, yes you’ve guessed it right, Brazil. This is their third release so far, their debut album ‘Darkness And Light’ having been released in 2006
For this album they’ve attracted a new vocalist Fabio Juan, who delivers a stunning performance on this album. It’s a pity that this band probably will only be known to a select few here in Europe, because these guys really rock (hard & heavy). The sad news is that you’ll probably never see this band play live in our countries. Only a select few South American bands get enough promotion to be able to make it over here. And that really is a shame, because Scelerata produce a very good melodic, at times with progressive elements in it, heavy metal.
