Seether is a South African post-grunge/alternative metal band founded in 1999 in a city Pretoria. Originally was it formed under the name "Saron Gas" en renamed in 2002. In 2002 the group gained some popularity with the single "Fine Again" and in 2004 with "Broken". Current members are Shaun Morgan (lead vocals, rythm guitar, lead guitar), Dale Steward (bass, acoustic guitar ans backing vocals), John Humphrey (drums) and Bryan Wickmann (lead guitar, backing vocals).

Existing 15 years and made 5 studio albums and prove every time that they are vital enough. Now their sixed album is even better, frontman Shaun said "The whole record is a collection of diary entries. It's just where I'm at and what I'm going through. I'm writing songs about getting through whatever situation I'm in at the time. These songs deal with relationships and life situation." And the evidence the album starts with "See You at the Bottom" a sludgy and grungy song. My first thing was it gone be a very dark album but then ... "Same Damn Life" a happy accessible song of their career. Maybe a little bit poppy but you can feel the power drum of Humprey.

And again "Words as Wapens" a march tempo number with so much sense and power that so far mission is accomplished. I had the luck to see them live at GMM and I must say they were better than I was expecting. Just buy this record and go see them live you won't regret this!
