Sepultura is a Brazilian Heavy Metal band from Belo Horizonte, formed in 1984. Members are: Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr (Bass, backing), Andrea Kisser (Lead, backing), Derrick Green (vocals, guitar), Eloy Casagrande (drums). “The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart” is their 13the album parts of the song and text are based on the classic movie Metropolis (1927).

The first song “Trauma Of War” gets things going and is chaotic, this is the tone for the rest of the album. “The Vatican brings us in the atmosphere of “ Chaos A.D. a mood killing minute and a keyboard choir. The new 22-year-old drummer Eloy is very creative but his sound is too clean for this production. The guitar sound is very muddy, the vocals are pushed to the background hereby is it not easy to follow the song. General the sound is very messy in the harder numbers because there are unclear intermezzo’s. A number like “Grief” sounds very well but missed the ball. The cd is not easy to understand or getting to the bottom.
