This actually is the third album already for Signum Regis, a band that was only formed in 2007 by bass player Ronnie König.  But while on the former two albums the vocals were handled by Göran Edman (ex Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum) on this album the vocals were done by a score of singers, including Mr. Edman.  Other shouters, to name but a few, are Lance King (ex Pyramaze, Balance Of Power), Michael Vescera (Obsession, Animetal USA).

As the title of the album might suggest, it’s some kind of concept album about the exodus of the Jews or Israelites if you prefer to call them that, from Egypt towards their Promised Land. Over all the album contains 11 tracks, mastered by Tommy Hansen.

The style of the album is European melodic heavy and power metal.  Despite the multitude of vocalist I have found no bad song on this album, the quality varies but they’ve succeeded I delivering a good album.

90/100
