Born from an idea of singer/ guitarist Dave E. Dee (real name Davide Scala) and guitarist Andy (recorded in the population registers of his hometown as Andrea Angelini), this Milano based Italian “Hard Rock” band (the other members being bassist/ backing singer Franceso TrippTripaldi and drummer Fo) has been around since...well, since at least 2006, because that's when the band released its 4-track debut EP Idol Of Mass.

Followed the 2007 two-track single I Wanna Be A Parasite Too, as a prelude to the self-release of the band's 2008 self-tiled full-length album, and a contribution to the compilation album Glamnation, before the 8-track covers/ tribute EP Let There Be Punk (the band covering some of its favourite Punk Rock acts) in 2009. And, as a prelude to the band's sophomore album (this one), the guys also released the 3-track single Again (with one song again a cover, from a Danzig track).

If, from these introductory words, you may have understood that Stick It Out's music is a “Hard Rock” with Punk and Glam flavourings, you can be said to have relatively good deduction reasoning, indeed! Of course, that doesn't give a complete picture as, for instance, there's some quite nice lead guitar parts (adding that melodic side of things, man!) throughout the album. The singer(s) has (have) an occasional slight accent to his (their) vocals, but not in a way which is annoying...not even in the somewhat calmer songs. Hell, you know what, no amount of description giving one a good insight to the band's music, maybe you should simply seek out the band's website (www.) stickitout, where you'll find links to facebook, twitter, YouTube, MySpace and SoundCloud...enough possibilities to find full-length songs by the band (you'll find samples of both album's songs in the band's website's “Discography” section – actually a link to the albums' pages on iTunes!). As for any personal preferences, my usual advice counts : love it, or leave it!
