Thine, from West Yorkshire UK, first formed in 1993 as Blood of Thine but it wasn’t until 1996 (& a name-change to just Thine), that the band decided to record their first studio demo. But it wasn’t until January 1998, for them to record the debut album under Peaceville Records. ‘A Town Like This’ was recorded at Academy Studios and was engineered / mixed by MAGS.
Their latest creation entitled “The Dead City Blueprint” is actually out since April but only now made it to these regions. It can be best described as experimental and progressive rock. And although it has lots of vibes and different atmospheres going….this certainly isn’t a record that I can appreciate. Vocals sound of here and there, riff changes that make no sense at all, no, this is one record I wont be listening to again.
