Graves Of Nosgoth is a project born in May 2009 thanks to the experience of four Italian boys of the Modena Apennines: Mirko Capitani, Giammarco Agazzotti, Thomas Volpari And Luca Lometti. Influences USA late 80s heavy metal and beyond there is a wide range of inspiration from the sphere of progressive metal and rock. They released there first album in June 2011.

The 2 numbers “Great Abomination Invocation” and “Ashesgold” contains nice riffs and a straight drums. But there is missing some stability and maturity in the songs…

No Ones Cares  was born in 2012. They starten a project dedicated to the groove metal, metalcore and nu metal sounds. The fast guitar and stinging riffs are alternate with unstopped riffs, drums and bass require power dictating the law of Metalcore, voice mix well together, alternating between Growl, clean vocals and rap traits that give the particularity to pieces and describe the "hard and rough" character of No One Cares.

“Lymphoma” and “Intolleranza” 2 master pieces nice guitar riffs, nice power voice. The song don’t lose power, and do not die in the middle or at the end. Italian metal that I like!

Planter Punch founded in 2007. An Italian band with I Planters Punch(Voice), Francesca Ulivi (bass, voice), Simone Marziale (guitar, backings),Filippa Betti (guitar) and Maicol Lucchetti (drums). Then they undertook a delicate review work of their pieces turning the lyrics from the initial English into Italian.

I don’t understand why the add 2 song that not fit on this cd…Maybe they have some metal riff in their song but…this is not a place for these songs on a metal cd.

Heretic’s Dream was founded in 2010 when the guitarist (Andrej Surace) and singer (Francesca Di Ventura) went to live in Engeland. Due to their different musical influences, ranging from various forms of death metal and hardcore for Andrej , pop / goth / rock for Francesca, they started writing music difficult to place in a specific genre and this unique sound turned to be their peculiar characteristic. After almost a year of gigs in the UK, they decided to seek alternative musicians from back home in Italy and as such Maurilio Di Stefano and Emiliano Baccini joined the band adding a further progressive and groove based influence to the bands sound.

“Outcasted” starts very powerfull but then it collapse after 30 seconds same with the other song “The broken Silence” boring.

57/100
