The L.A. rockers ‘Venrez’ are back with their second album ‘American Illusion’. It’s a non-stop rock and roll album with tight rhythms, good riffs and a touch of grunge in it.

The band consists of singer ‘Steven Berez’ guitarists ‘Jason Womack’ and ‘Alex Kane’, bassist ‘Michael Bradford’ and drummer ‘Ed Davis’.

American Illusion’ is from a whole other level than their first album ‘Sell The Lie’. The band sounds tighter, the riffs sound very original and the songs are just better than the songs on their last album.

The lead sections are very tight and the rhythm sections give it a real solid impression. There is one cover on the album ‘Beat Goes On’ of Sonny and Cher. They gave a good own touch to the song, only the chorus is the same as the original. ‘American Illusion’ is a modern rock album.

If it goes on like that then the third album is more than welcome.
