Atlanta based Volume IV, featuring Joe Carpenter of Nihilist, has just announced the release of their Ripple Music debut album, Long In The Tooth, which will be coming out in the US on March 11th, and is scheduled to hit the European stores on March 14th of 2014!

The band and record can best be described as a slightly harder than hard rock band, and reminds me in some strange way of an early Mastodon record during some songs, and here and there some southern influences.

Now to be honest, this record doesn’t really impress me. I do like the influences used to create this record, but it ends there. Not bad, but certainly not great.
