The new (4th) full length releases from Californian Deathcore band Winds of Plague. With song titles such as “Say hello to the undertaker” “ Time to reap” or “ Good ol’ fashion bloodbath” it is not hard to imagine what’ on the menu, downtuned, hard hitting riffs ,a guttural voice, no place for lead guitars and the occasional keyboard /piano probably to accentuate that there is indeed a keyboard player present... Personally I am not so sure why this band it categorised as deathcore, as it seems musical influences are more to be found in the wonderfull word of death metal, the heavyness of Nola stars CROWBAR and also the spirit of Soulfly - Cavalera Conspiracy can be found wandering around on “ Resistance” If you like a bit rough and blunt…..
