To be honet, I’ve about had it with live albums from Yes. Haven’t they earned enough money yet ? Since 2005 they’ve managed to release a live album about every two years, some with recent recordings, some with what I’d dare to call ‘prehistoric’ material, If they continue doing this, I guess we’re in for a new record every two years for the next thirty years to come.
And on top of that, the songs on this album are either rather long and dull, or at least to me almost unknown. There’s also almost no interaction with the audience. The may be skilfull musicians, that at least can be heard, but it’s almost as if they’ve made a studio album, and mixed in some cheers from the audience.
My verdict, this is a record strictly reserved for the Yes die hard fans.
