Two years after the fine album Kings Of Carnage (review uploaded on September 22nd 2013, written by colleague Jeroen), German death army Debauchery returns with ninth studio full length album, which was recorded at the House Of Audio Studio with Dennis Ward once again (known for lesser, eh, ‘intense’ bands and projects actually, such as Edenbridge, Sunstorm, Allen / Lande, Krokus or Jaded Heart). The result is called F*ck Humanity (please do…), it lasts for fifty two minutes, and it was conceived by Mr. Debauchery (sonic blasters & voices of war), Mr. Blood (blastmaster bass), Mr. Death (drums of doom) and Mr. Kill (sonic blasters).

And I’ll be short about this stuff: you like it or you do not. Expect quasi the very same kind of Sonic Terror as before, being a highly melodic kind of Groove-Death Metal. It’s full of energy and melody, being catchy yet still impressively powerful, and paying tribute to all trends that made the universal Metal / Rock scene as interesting and worthy as it is now.

I do not think it’s recommended to go deeper into the subject. All fans of this band just need to get this new piece, for I think it might be one of their best ones to date. And ‘new’ fans too must at least give it a try, because this represents the not-that-seriously-taken yet still enormously professional side of Deathgroovethrashhumanityfuckrockmetal.

Oh yes, just for your info: there’s a (limited) digi-box available as well, including two bonus discs, which actually contain, if I am not mistaken, stuff from two side-projects of bass player Thomas ‘Blood’ Gurrath. Yet since it wasn’t included in the digital promo edition that was kindly offered to our headquarters…
