Californian Satanic horde Enbilulugugal was formed in 2000. In mean time, they released some thousands of recordings, especially as demonstrational material, or as split. When it comes to the splits, they did work with same-minded sick-heads like Darkosis, Static Goat, Gromkult, Pyfyxfyru, Skeld or Necrobestiality, mainly projects or bands some Enbilulugugal-members were, or are, involved with as well. Besides, there are many compilations brought out, and maybe you’re one of the psychopaths that could appreciate 2013’s The Day After full length, once again done via Dipsomaniac Records (a label that houses more of those sweet combos -‘me like’- through which Enbilulugugal did release several other muSICKal creations before too).

Crucial Blast now release another compilation, named after the band’s 2004-album Noizemongers For GoatSerpent. It was originally done via Rusty Axe Records on CD-r format (and then I am referring to the album itself; not to the totally compiled stuff), and re-released a first time on Pro-CD-r in 2011 with some additional bonus material (yet in a very limited number of copies, unfortunately).

This double-album includes more bonus stuff, which I will come back to later on. It was, and then I am specifically referring to the debut full length part of this compilation, recorded by main man Izedis Apirikubabadazuzukanpa (also in Chernobog, Static Goat etc.), Alcoholonomicon (who did the drums back then; known from his collaboration with, for example, Tjolgtjar, Burning Blood, MMFHL, Bloodwoods or Pyfyxfyru), and guitarist The Coprophiliac (who left in mean time). And another interesting, or annoying detail: this compilation lasts for more than two-and-a-half hour. Can you resist? Can you handle it? Will you be that brave to submit and obey?...

The compilation starts with the re-mastered version of that 2004-debut. The initial release, and this goes for everything else this band did in the past, is a love-it-or-hate-it result. Noizemongers For GoatSerpent brought / brings a mixture of distorted Noise and industrialized and raw, primitive Black Metal. It sounds like a grinding mixture of MZ.412, Masonna, Psywarfare, Aderlating, Beherit, Merzbow, Alpha Drone and Black Witchery, i.e. completely disturbing, dissonant, discrepant, apocalyptic, psychopathic, hyper-neurological and hideous, with a purely Hellish Porn-attitude and a totally uncompromising approach, going for both lyrical and muSICKal essence.

The second part of the first disc is called TnepreStaoG Rof SregnomezioN, and it gets described as a remix-edition of the original album. It has been done by Izedis Apirikubabadazuzukanpa, and can be considered sort of electronized Noise reprisal for the original album. It’s everything in reverse, but even worse and more deformed when it comes to structure or concept. It’s messy, completely schizophrenic and totally messed-up, deconstructed from a mostly ugly state of mind.

Disc two consists of twenty one previously unreleased or hard-to-get ‘songs’, which are still noisy, yet rather related to the Black Metal scene. …of course of a mostly harsh, grinding, noisy, distorted kind… It comes closer to the likes of Deiphago, Von, Havohej, Abruptum, Nastrond 666, Ildjarn or Cryptic Winds, yet still breathing a pronounced and inherent lo-fi necrotic ugliness. The average duration is longer, and the structures are slightly less, eh, unstructured.

Hail CHAOS!!!
