Their debut mini-album ‘Malva’, released in 2011 seems to have been a stoner album.  This new, full record however has more than stoner to it.  There’s also a dose of what I’d dare to call grunge mixed in, as well as some progressive metal.

Now I’ve never been a big fan of either grunge nor stoner rock, but this album had just that slight touch that kept my interest going.  As bands that may have influenced this band I’d say Soundgarden, Mastodon, Alice In Chains, Kyuss, Opeth, Kings X. Despite the fact that I didn’t find it a bad album, the overall sound is a bit too dark, doomy for me, which means this album will have a hard time to find its way back to my player again.  It’s melodic at times, but it’s rather hard to digest for someone who grew up with NWOBHM.
